They are trucking snow for part of the Olympics in Vancouver and the flowers are coming up here at my house. The tulip festival may be to late for the blooms if this keeps up. Those of us living on the downwind side of a great lake are usually the ones digging out of snowfalls measured in feet. So far this year, it's all backwards. Baltimore, MD has a higher YTD total (so far) than Rochester, NY. Talk about unlikely events. Of course, Baltimore could be shut down for days. My sister-in-law is a teacher there and she says they may not have school all week. Here in Rochester-land, it might buy kids one snow day, if the storm hits on the same day.
