Hmm, maybe the next image I post will be in color
One of the casualties of the move back to Pittsburgh is that, when I did the drive, I wasn’t able to move the contents of my apartment with me. Most everything is in storage in Mesa, except what I could fit into my Saab. What’s in storage includes some of my photographic equipment (like my Mamiya, my scanner, my photo book library, and my desktop computer). The 35mm equipment and all my negs fit into the car, thank goodness. I’ve been working this weekend to setup my copy of Lightroom and my photo library here, so I can work a little bit on a laptop until I can get the rest of my stuff shipped.
I seems like the company will get some cash, so things are looking up a little bit. At least they are more hopeful than when I did the drive back with my two boys (Rocky and Smokey).
This image is the last one I worked on but never posted before I came back home. Thought I’d post it and then start to do some digital shooting again. Without the scanner, it’s tough to shoot my beloved b&w and get it into the computer. I did bring the developer and tanks, so I can shoot it and develop it, just can’t get it into digital to show you.
I guess it’s ‘hello, again.’

missed your work and looking forward to your return…
Happy to see the new post. Hope this is the beginning of the upswing! Warm wishes as you move forward.
You have been missed Chris. Hope things continue to improve on the business front.
Take a look at Nik software for digital B&W it may help
Ray, I’m already sold (feature wise) on the Nik suite. I’m a fan, for sure. I did some captures on Sunday. My biggest hiccup right now is that my wife cannot find her adapter to get the images from the Compact Flash card into my laptop, and (natch) mine is in a box 1800 miles from here. I’m trying to scrounge one up right now.
Well, by clicking over here, I basically answered the question I left you with in the email that I just sent. Nice to see you here again. Go get that adapter and get to shooting, young man!
Good to see you’re back, and even more good that there seems to be a sun rising in the horizon.
Welcome back! You slipped in and I didn’t know your were here. It’s great to see more of your work and to hear the sounds of optimisim.
